The Charter Revision Commission is responsible for making recommendations for important changes to the City’s Charter that affect the City of Norwalk’s government.
The Charter Revision Commission has been meeting with City Department heads, officials from other municipalities, subject matter experts and the public biweekly since September 2022 to conduct a comprehensive review of the City of Norwalk’s Charter. The Charter was adopted in 1913 and contains provisions that no longer apply to current City operations.
